Performance
The Snapdragon 8 Elite in the Galaxy S25 is one of the fastest phone chips available, and it shows in demanding games and heavy multitasking. The Pixel 10’s Tensor G5 is smooth for everyday use and AI features, but it is not built to top benchmark charts. If you game a lot, the S25 has the edge.
Cameras
Pixel phones are known for consistent, natural-looking photos with very little effort, and the Pixel 10 adds a 5x telephoto camera, which gives it more reach than the S25’s 3x lens. Samsung’s photos tend to be brighter and more saturated, which many people like for social media. Both shoot excellent video in daylight.
Battery and size
The Pixel 10 has the larger battery. The S25 is one of the smallest flagships you can buy, which makes it easy to use with one hand, but its 4,000 mAh battery means heavy users may need a top-up by evening.
Software
Pixel gets new Android versions first and has a clean, simple interface. Samsung’s One UI has more customisation and features such as DeX and deep integration with Galaxy watches, earbuds and tablets.
